Creamy Lemon Oats Bars!!

Creamy Lemon Oats Bar

After an awful LONG drought of baking, it's feels great being back in the kitchen again! This recipe I came across on Pinterest one day (months ago!) and I've finally decided it was time to try it out. I cannot believe how EASY it was to put it together, I should've done it sooner! You can locate the original recipe at this link or I will also be posting it here as well.

Creamy Lemon Oats Bars
Ingredients:
  • 14 oz condense milk
  • 3 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup old fashion oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
Procedures:
  1. Mix condense milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice together until thickens
  2. Mix other ingredients until crumbly then transfer about 1/2 of the crumbles into the pan and bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees
  3. Spread lemon milk mixture over the crush (can be done right after the crust comes out of the over). Sprinkle remaining crumbly mix on top and press gently.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
  5. Cool and serve!
