Busy Weekend Continues: Bold Birthday Card

I split the weekend entries up because I wanted the entries to be tagged differently in case people were only interesting in the card aspect of the entry or the cake part and didn't have to drone through the entire post.

Here is the birthday card I made for my friend's birthday in addition to the cupcakes:

stampin' up:
pacific point, real red, bashful blue, so saffron cardstock
look who's turning stamp set
fox & friends stamp set
victoria crochet trim
pear pizzazz, basic black ink

Another Cake Story: Double Chocolate Cupcakes!

Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting!

made these for my friend's birthday (frosting recipe here)
....and because she LOVES fishbones, I decided to add one more detail:

green fishbones (green obviously is her favorite color)!

Of course what's a birthday without a birthday card? Click to view entry.

Quick and Simple: Clear Mount Conversion 2.0

Finally it's time for part 2 of the first video I posted!
Reason I waited until May was because I "ingeniously" decided to (accidentally) show off my new stamp sets from the summer catalog before its release in the video...however as policy goes, I'm not suppose to do that.... smart right? I guess I got too excited and who can blame me? Love new stamp sets! Had to get them mounted quickly so I can play!

Anyways: this video give everyone an alternative to converting their unmounted wood sets into clear mount using leftover cling material from Stampin' Up's clear mounts!

Let's celebrate being sustainable! One theme you'll find with me is NOTHING WILL EVER GO TO WASTE!

I hope you all enjoy!
